Pay or Contest Vernon County Tickets
The Prosecutor traffic page says most traffic fines are paid to a central fine collection agency in Jefferson City. If a person pleads not guilty, the person must follow the ticket instructions to send the not-guilty plea to Jefferson City. The ticket is then sent to Vernon County, and the person receives a court-date notice from the Circuit Court Clerk.
